September 28, 2012: Pulpit Rock, Norway

Preikestolen or Prekestolen (in English Preacher’s Pulpit or Pulpit Rock) is a massive cliff 604 metres or 1982 feet above a fjord in Norway. Wiki notes that it is a 3-4 hour hike in/up to the nearly-flat cliff-top, which is approximately 25 by 25 metres (82 by 82 feet). It has no safety railings, so as to keep the natural beauty of the cliff.
