The Chalice (by Neil Dawson) is a large sculpture in Christchurch Square in New Zealand. The cathedral and many of the surrounding buildings were damaged in the severe earthquake earlier in 2011, but the Chalice – erected to celebrate the new millennium and the 150th Anniversary of the founding of Christchurch and is made up of leaf patterns featuring different NZ native plants – still stands.
