Jordan-16A-033, originally uploaded by archer10 (Dennis).

The Oval Plaza in Jerash, Jordan. (See more about its architecture here.)

Wikipedia says that “Jerash is known for the ruins of the Greco-Roman city of Gerasa” and that it “is considered one of the most important and best preserved Roman cities in the Near East.”
