Cobblestone, originally uploaded by Michael Sorensen Photography.

I know how much you all liked this cobbled street shot, and I like this one too, for different reasons. It’s less mystical, and more pedestrian. (Heh.) But seriously, you can see the character of each stone and how it’s been worn over time. Very cool.

10, originally uploaded by notashamed.

I plan to spend most of the weekend doing household chores and watching sports on TV, so this picture of stadium seats seemed like the perfect choice for today!

(Although these are seats at Wrigley Field, home of the baseball-playing Chicago Cubs, and I’ll be watching football… you get the idea, though.)

Astronomical clock, originally uploaded by fionajay.

This is a close-up of part of the Prague Astronomical Clock. This medieval astronomical clock is located in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic.

You can get some of its history at wiki, but I also encourage you to check out this diagram which explains all the different things the clock shows.
